I am lucky to have many different ways of enjoying myself during free time. Here are short abstracts on some of them:

Music. I love music! I really do. I listen to the music either from my iTunes library or using my iPod every day. And it helps me relax and forget about all misunderstanding and recent problems. Listening to the music is a great thing, but performing it is a million times better! I have graduated from a local music school in my hometown when I was 14 (I was studying there for 8 years, so yes I entered it at the age of 6). My major was orchestral music and I play the alto saxophone, clarinet, piano, recorder (a type of flute). But my sax has always been a passion of mine. However, now I am trying to teach myself how to play the guitar. I own an electric guitar Washburn BT-4 and AMP Roland Cube-30x. And I really enjoy playing this beautiful instrument. This little thing on the left says about songs that I have played recently which has been caught by last.fm. Chess. Chess is quite probably my favorite game on Earth. I like playing it either with my friends or relatives or online with people that I have never met before. It's a great timekiller too :) It used to help me to survive during boring classes at school. These days I mainly play online at chess.com ,a very nice place to play some chess with guys from around the world, to learn how to play or just hang out titled players asking about their secrets. I used to go to chess school in my hometown. I was going there for several years but with my unbelievable lack luck I regularly needed 0.5-1 point to advance with my rating... I have contributed to a project which works with PGN files which are used for sharing information about chess games. |

Travelling. This is probably just the best thing for me to do when I have a couple of days off. I enjoy discovering new cultures and tradition very very much. Here is a map of places I've been to so far. |
Books.Yeah, I like reading quite a lot! I mainly read sci-fi and my absolutely favorite author is Robert Heinlein. I also like Harry Harrison (I even have a book signed by him!), Stephen King, J. R. R. Tolkien with his incredible fantasy world and many many others. Unfortunately I don't have as much time for reading now as I used to. |
